30th Annual Fashionetta Scholarship Luncheon & Fashion Show

The 30th Annual Fashionetta® celebrates student scholars and local leaders. This event is hosted by the Pasadena/Altadena Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (AKA) in partnership with the Pasadena/ Altadena Ivy Foundation (PAIF) to raise funds for student scholarships and community programs. This year's theme, P.E.A.R.L.S. (Pasadena's Elegant And Refined Ladies with Style, gives a nod to our 30th Anniversary of this event. The Pasadena/Altadena Chapter of AKA is focused on increasing the number of students of color who pursue high technology careers, excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact their community in the future.
The Pasadena/Altadena Chapter of AKA has a 58 year history of granting scholarships to college bound students. In the 21st Century alone, over $2250,000 has been awarded to local students. We are proud to partner with the Pasadena/Altadena Ivy Foundation as we celebrate the 30th Anniversary of this signature community event.
Fashionetta® will recognize the 2018 Scholarship Recipients and a local leader as Mother of the Year. The program will also include a luncheon, Fashion Show, unique shopping opportunities and a silent auction.
